Kids Mode

Enabling Kids Mode for children aged 4–12: the simplified interface, star ratings, and parental consent.

Kids Mode reshapes AphaSay for younger users with a simpler interface, encouraging feedback, and a calmer pace. It's designed for children aged roughly 4 to 12 working on speech with a parent or therapist.

Turning it on

  1. 1Open Settings and enable Kids Mode.
  2. 2Confirm parental consent when prompted — a parent or guardian must enable it.
  3. 3Choose a starting difficulty; you can adjust it anytime.

What changes

  • ·Bigger buttons and fewer options on each screen
  • ·Star ratings and friendly encouragement instead of clinical scores
  • ·Shorter exercise sets to match a child's attention span
  • ·Softer, playful visuals during Selfi exercises

Do it together

Kids Mode works best as a shared activity. Sit alongside, cheer the stars, and keep sessions short and positive.
