Emergency Contacts & Dialer

How to configure the emergency contact in Settings so AphaSay can reach the right person quickly.

AphaSay can keep an emergency contact one tap away. For someone who struggles to find words under stress, that one tap can matter enormously.

Setting the contact

  1. 1Open Settings and find Emergency Contact.
  2. 2Enter the name and phone number of the person to reach first.
  3. 3Save, then test it once so the patient knows what tapping it does.

Pairing it with Quick Phrases

Add emergency phrases like "I need help," "Please call an ambulance," or "Something is wrong" to the Quick Phrases emergency category. These play aloud instantly in the patient's voice, even offline.

Keep it current

Review the emergency contact whenever phone numbers or living arrangements change. An out-of-date number is worse than none, because it feels handled when it isn't.
